A Florida man who was captured a month ago for killing and explicitly attacking a lady in 1985 was purportedly found hanged in his prison cell on Thursday.
Crimes and Charges-
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office affirmed to the Pensacola News Journal that, was discovered dead in his cell. Wells was accused of the main degree murder and first-degree physical battery of Tonya McKinley, 23, whose incompletely bare, choked body was found in Pensacola on New Year’s Day.
A family strolling their debilitated pooch to a throughout the night center found the mother’s body hours after her vanishing from a neighborhood tavern and eatery. While agents gathered semen and hair from her body, they at first couldn’t find a match in the database.
Pensacola police captured Wells regarding the virus case murder on March 18. They purportedly focused on Wells in the wake of gaining a relative’s DNA.
The News Journal announced that Pensacola police, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Parabon NanoLabs made a family tree that eventually driven them to Wells. Specialists supposedly surveilled Wells and got his DNA from a disposed of cigarette.
Bonds and court appearance
Wells was imprisoned without bond. His first court hearing was booked for Wednesday.
