When native South African businessman Hendrik Jordaan met the beautiful Wyoming native , their love for altruism created a strong bond that brought the now couple closer than ever. Before the two became husband and wife, Hendrik and Jessica built beautiful lives with their own with children from previous relationships and were excited to combine their families as a couple.
An Intimate Pandemic Wedding
This couple made their union official this past summer. They were able to honor Jessica’s Wyoming roots by getting married under the beautiful Grand Teton Mountain Range. The couple’s ceremony took place on July 1, 2020, during the active Covid-19 pandemic. This virus did not stop the couple from having a beautiful, safe, and socially distant celebration. They kept the guest list extremely tight by only including their combined 7 children, harpist, and their family pastor. This ceremony took place near a ranch, another element that highlighted one of the couple’s passions, horses!
Highlighting the Couple’s Individual Causes
These newlyweds now reside in Colorado while keeping busy with their own personal philanthropic causes. Hendrik Jordaan works diligently as the President & CEO of an international private equity fund that is backed by some of the world’s leading families. Jessica Jordaan worked for years as a successful model and was featured in multiple television shows, magazine publications, and beauty pageants during her career.
Jessica channels her love for horses and equestrianism into her own personal cause. She spent her time forming WarhorseUSA, a non-profit organization that is working to raise awareness for America’s wild and domesticated Mustangs. Jessica Jordaan knows the terrible injustice that these horses face daily and wants to continue to do whatever she can to help their cause. One of the ways she does this is by educating the public and getting them excited about how they can contribute. While also working hard in his own career, Hendrik fully supports and contributes to his wife Jessica’s cause.
